Holly and I just wanted to take the time to wish Melinda a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY from us here at MelindaClarke.org, it’s been a bit of a quiet year so far but we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
The O.C.’s Melinda Clarke has signed on guest star in two episodes in the third season of TNT’s Dallas, The Wrap reports.
Clarke will assume the role of Tracy Lawton, a character who was introduced in the 12th season of the original series and was played by Beth Toussaint. In the original series, McKay was introduced in 1988 as a love interest for Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy), and it was later revealed that she was in fact the daughter of Ewing’s rival Carter McKay (George Kennedy).
Since leaving The O.C., Clarke has guest starred on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries, HBO’s Entourage, and was a series regular on the recently canceled Nikita, which ran on The CW for four seasons.
Clarke will make her debut in the September 3 episode of Dallas‘s third season, which resumes on August 18.
Nikita’s final season is now available for purchase at all major retailer and at Amazon.com for only $19.99.
Watch out, Amanda! Birkhoff is not a happy hacker.
On Friday’s episode of Nikita (9/8c, The CW), Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) is still reeling from Amanda (Melinda Clarke) killing his father, NSA official Ronald Peller (Judd Nelson). “He’s on a warpath,” Stanford tells TVGuide.com. “He’s full of rage and wants revenge.”
Of course, the audience knows that Amanda has kept Peller alive so he can crack into Birkhoff’s (aka “Shadow Walker”) ShadowNet. Infiltrate Nikita’s network and use the father against his own son? Amanda has reached new heights of cruelty.
In the promo for “Pay-Off” below, we get a glimpse of Peller, what looks to be a missile, and Amanda and Nikita (Maggie Q) facing off. Stanford adds, “Birkhoff has an undercover moment out in the field.”
Question: I’d love some Amanda-related Nikita scoop. —Alex
Ausiello: Expect to see Melinda Clarke’s evildoer “crack a little” in the show’s final six episodes. “She really starts to cause problems for The Shop because of her own personal agenda,” previews the actress. “There are some really intense things that happen along the way because of Amanda’s obsession with Nikita. [Amanda’s] trying to create World War III this season and she keeps trying to stop it.” Fun Aside: The Big Bad org will no longer be known as The Shop. “Percy called it The Shop,” Clarke tells us. “We’re now calling it The Group.”
I was able to finally meet Melinda in person, and she’s incredibly lovely to speak with. I certainly look forward to hopefully seeing her again in the future! So thank you to Melinda for being a sport and posing for photos and chatting with me in between everybody else.
Please do not repost these photos anywhere without crediting MelindaClarke.org – thanks.
It has been officially confirmed that Melinda will once again be joining the rest of the Nikita cast for this year’s final appearance at San Diego Comic Con. It will be taking place on Friday July 19th. Stay tuned for more details as the date comes closer.

Thanks to Sammy over at our affiliate site Shane West Online, I’ve finally uploaded over 1500 HD captures of Melinda from the first season of Nikita. As a big thanks to her for doing these for us, I urge you to go check out their ongoing project for Shane’s birthday, I know they would love to give him something really special and no contribution to it is too small.
Every year networks pick and choose what they’re bringing back and what they’re cutting, Nikita has been on the bubble since TVLine’s renewal scorecard went up earlier this year, and sadly has been left up for grabs for the last two years, fans fight every year for it and this year is no different. But we finally have an answer as to whether or not our show is saved.
And it is, but the news doesn’t stop there.
Creator Craig Silverstein confirmed via twitter that Nikita will come back for a 4th season. But, in sadder news we’ve learned the season will be shortened to only 6 episodes. In Craig’s tweet he promised “an incredible finish” for the series.
Be sure to tune in for episode 3.21, called “Invisible Hand” tonight on The CW
I’ve got almost 300 HD captures from the episode “Hollywood Ending” in the gallery.
